Behavioral InterventionistJob Description:
- Implement evidenced based ABA treatment programs specifically designed for students with identified special needs
- Participate, as a team member, to maintain a safe and respectful environment for the student
- Ensure integrity of program implementation by following the behavior support plan, collecting accurate data and providing daily documentation
- Attend mandatory trainings
- Provide ongoing and accurate feedback to the Behavioral Supervisor
- A bachelor's degree and educational coursework completed in the areas of: Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), Child Development, Special Education, Psychology or a related field is preferred for Behavior Intervention positions
- Prior experience working with children with special needs
- Previous work experience with provision of ABA, positive behavior supports and crisis intervention for students with emotional disabilities in the school setting is preferred
- Bilingual in Spanish is an asset
- Full-time and Part-time opportunities are now available
- Hours of operation are from 7:00 am - 7:00 pm
